We routinely review and refine our practices to reflect emerging legal requirements, best-in-class cybersecurity technology, and evolving digital finance protocols, thereby ensuring continuous alignment with both regulatory and ethical expectations.

This Policy applies to every interaction by any person with the LendPe App, its Website, or associated physical and digital channels, whether as a full-fledged user, applicant, prospective borrower, inquiry initiator, or mere visitor. This statement governs all forms of data sharing, whether initiated from within India or accessed remotely, including cross-border data flows to the extent such transfers are permitted by Indian law.

3. Categories of Information We Collect

A. Identity and Verification Data

LendPe collects comprehensive information that may uniquely identify or authenticate you as an individual, including but not limited to your full legal name, gender, date of birth, postal address, government-issued identification numbers (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, or any other KYC-required documents), facial photographs, scanned images of primary and secondary identity documents, marital status, and any supporting credentials mandated by financial or regulatory authorities.

B. Communication and Contact Information

Supplementary data is amassed when you interact with our platform, including but not limited to your email address, mobile and landline contact numbers, lists of device-stored contacts (upon your permission), and SMS content strictly related to financial or KYC purposes. All telephonic or electronic correspondences, including voice recordings and chat messages made through support channels, also form part of your record.

C. Financial and Transactional Data

In serving your microfinance needs, LendPe acquires and processes details associated with your financial standing and transactional behavior, which may include your bank account particulars, unique customer identification codes, payment instrument identifiers, last four digits of card numbers, loan applications, borrowing history, repayment records, interest calculations, disbursal and collections data, as well as credit rating or transaction histories sourced either directly or through trusted credit bureaus.

D. Device, Application, and Technical Data

Upon installation and use of the LendPe App, we collect key technical parameters such as unique device identifiers, browser fingerprints, type and make of hardware, operating system and software versions, IP address, device language, network details, error/crash/system logs, and geolocation metrics (when you explicitly permit location services). These are used exclusively for improving service quality, risk management, enhancing security, and ensuring compliance with remote onboarding requirements.

E. Analytics and Usage Data

Through both direct and automated means—including cookies, web beacons, and SDKs—LendPe gathers aggregate and anonymized analytics regarding user interactions, visit frequencies, navigation paths, time spent on various modules, feature usage statistics, and engagement with in-app messages or push notifications.

4. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Data Processing

JKWEEN MICROCARE FOUNDATION processes your information strictly in accordance with relevant statutory, contractual, and legitimate interest bases. Every data point collected by LendPe is tied directly to one or more of the following purposes:

  • Enabling and verifying your eligibility for microfinance services, including strict implementation of KYC (Know Your Customer)/AML (Anti-Money Laundering) mandates as per RBI and IT Act requirements.
  • Assessing creditworthiness, determining loan terms, and facilitating fully informed lending decisions.
  • Administering account creation, profile management, transaction fulfillment, disbursal, and ongoing repayment collection activities.
  • Delivering world-class customer support, resolving complaints, and ensuring a seamless, user-centric experience.
  • Enforcing security, carrying out robust fraud detection, and monitoring for any misuse or suspicious activity.
  • Meeting legally mandated notification, disclosure, and record-keeping requirements, including those required by courts, law enforcement, or regulatory audits.
  • Personalizing the platform, improving user experience, enhancing the design and efficacy of our loan products and digital services, and communicating product updates or offers with your consent.

    JKWEEN MICROCARE FOUNDATION does not, under any circumstances, sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for unrelated marketing purposes.

5. Methods and Sources of Data Collection

In addition to direct user input via digital forms, LendPe collects the above-listed data through the following carefully controlled channels:

  • Mobile application permissions approved by you during installation or use.
  • Digital onboarding forms, user-initiated uploads, and online chat/telephonic communications.
  • Secure interfacing with trusted service partners (such as payment gateways, KYC agencies, credit bureaus) under contract to uphold equivalent privacy standards.
  • Voluntary surveys, feedback modules, or promotional participation.
  • External social platform connections strictly where you expressly authorize such integration.
  • Automated tracking tools such as cookies, application SDKs, and browser-based analytics.

6. Storage, Security, and Retention Practices

All information submitted to LendPe is encrypted and stored exclusively within state-of-the-art data centers located in India, or in compliance with applicable Indian cross-border data protection laws. We employ multi-factor authentication, regular access control audits, role-based user privilege management, and periodic vulnerability risk assessments.
Retention Period:
Data is retained for the period dictated by Indian regulations (currently not less than 10 years after the cessation of the customer relationship, unless a longer retention is warranted by legal or contractual requirement). Upon expiry of the retention timeframe, or if you exercise your right to deletion where permitted, data is irreversibly anonymized or securely destroyed through certified means.

7. Cookies, Digital Identifiers, and Tracking

LendPe’s Site and App leverage cookies and similar tracking technologies to optimize website operations, monitor site performance, and improve security. Users have the ability to control cookie behavior via browser/app settings, but disabling cookies may restrict some functionalities or degrade user experience.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure Protocols

  • Collections and Recovery Agents: Authorized agencies tasked to recover overdue payments solely under binding confidentiality and privacy obligations.

We exercise rigorous due diligence in selecting partners and contractually require them to maintain equivalent data protection commitments.

9. Safeguarding Your Information

Maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of your personal information is at the core of LendPe’s operations. This is reinforced by:

  •  Industry-grade AES encryption (at rest and in transit)
  • Regular automated and manual security audits
  • Privileged access restrictions and audit trails
  • Secure cloud architecture with redundancy safeguards
  • PCI-DSS compliance protocols for handling sensitive payment data
  • Prompt breach notification and escalation protocols in the rare event of an incident

Despite these best efforts, users must also exercise prudence—such as choosing strong, unique passwords, never sharing authentication tokens, and contacting our support team immediately upon observing suspicious account activity.

10. User Rights and Choices

In furtherance of your privacy rights under Indian law, you may, subject to applicable legal exceptions:

  • Request a copy of your personal data held by LendPe
  • Seek correction or update of any inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Withdraw any previously provided consent (to the extent this does not impede legal or contractual obligations)
  • Request cessation of direct marketing communications
  • Ask for erasure, anonymization, or blocking of your data, subject to statutory retention needs

11. Changes to this Policy

LendPe reserves the right to alter, amend, or update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal mandates, technological advances, or business operations. Continuing to use our services after changes signifies your acceptance of those amendments.

Our App and Website may feature links, references, or connectivity to external websites, partner platforms, or third-party offerings. JKWEEN MICROCARE FOUNDATION does not govern nor assume liability for the privacy policies, data practices, or content of any such external websites, and we advise you to review the privacy statements of any site you visit through embedded links.

13. Data Breach, Force Majeure, and Limitation of Liability

In the improbable event of an unauthorized breach or compromise of customer data, LendPe will investigate, notify affected users and authorities as required by law, and undertake prompt remedial measures. However, LendPe disclaims liability for disclosures or incidents arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, governmental actions, or network infrastructure failures (“Force Majeure Events”).
